Stitched this spider for my three year old son. He loved it! Super cute and really easy to do. Stitched beautifully. I forgot to add the water soluble stabilizer to the front as recommended in tips and tricks, so the stitches tended to "sink" ever so slightly into the knit of the t-shirt. The effect, however, was great, because it sort of gave the spider a hairy-leg look as some of the stitches faded a bit into the shirt fabric. I did remember to use the water soluble stabilizer on top of his twin sister's girly spider. The "sink" was gone, which was fine, especially since it was for a girl.Ashley Klein (22 Oct 2010, 07:28)
